These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of India, regardless of the residence or nationality of the member.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any features, pricing or access rules of our platform at any time without prior notice. Significant changes to our policies will be communicated via email or platform notification.
We provide a dedicated Safety Tips section on our website, advising members never to send money to matches, to meet in public places, to inform trusted contacts of meetings and to independently verify personal or professional credentials of potential matches.
We may use human moderators and/or automated tools to scan for inappropriate content or messages. While we strive to maintain a safe environment, such measures do not guarantee detection or removal of all prohibited content.
Members may request a complete copy of their personal data prior to account deletion. Upon verified request, we will provide such data within a reasonable time frame and then delete the account in accordance with applicable laws.
Our platform may display third-party advertisements as also list their details under ‘Services (Vendors)’. We do not endorse, verify, guarantee or take responsibility for the content, products or services offered in such advertisements and as listed under ‘Services (Vendors)’. Users are advised to conduct their own due diligence and verification of details before engaging them. We are not liable for any losses caused by such aforementioned third party services.
Members must comply with the legal marriageable age requirements of their country of residence and India (whichever is higher) in order to register and use our services. Accounts found to be in violation will be terminated.
Creating multiple or fake accounts to circumvent rules is strictly prohibited. If such accounts are detected, all related accounts will be suspended or terminated without refund.
We facilitate introductions but are not responsible or liable for any outcome or incident arising from offline meetings between members. We strongly recommend meeting in public places and informing friends or family before such meetings.
All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Members agree not to initiate chargebacks through their payment provider for services already rendered or partially rendered. All billing disputes must be raised directly with us for resolution
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, stalking or the sending of offensive, obscene or threatening material through our platform. Any member engaging in such behaviour will have their account permanently terminated without refund and may be reported to law enforcement authorities
You must be at least 18 years old (female) or 21 years old (male) and legally competent to marry under Indian law. You are responsible for providing truthful date-of-birth information. We may request documents to confirm age; members found to be underage will be suspended and their data removed.
We provide an online platform for members to connect for the purpose of exploring matrimonial alliances. We do not guarantee marriage, compatibility or the accuracy of information provided by other members. You are solely responsible for verifying the background and suitability of other members.
Membership plans, fees and features are listed on our website and may be updated without prior notice. Payment must be made in full before services commence. Unless explicitly stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law
We offer preferential subscription rates to serving and retired officers of the Indian Defence Forces and their legal dependents (“Defence Members”), subject to verification through valid documentation. These rates are discretionary, non-transferable and applicable only upon successful verification. We may withdraw or modify such pricing without prior notice
From time to time, we may award colour badges to members who we qualify as ‘Select Individual’ to facilitate their introduction to other members we believe may be more compatible. Inclusion is discretionary and does not form part of standard services. We are not obliged to provide reasons for selection or non-selection.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Use the Service in good faith and for matrimonial purposes only.
• Do not misuse the platform for harassment, abuse, fraudulent activity or commercial solicitation.
• Respect the privacy and dignity of other members.
We reserve the right to review, edit, suspend or remove content or profiles that violate these Terms. Profiles inactive for more than 06 months and without any subscription plan may be archived or deleted after prior notice; archived profiles may be reactivated on request and verification.
We are not liable for fraudulent activities by members. We will cooperate with law enforcement and may retain records of communications, transaction logs and verification documents for a reasonable retention period to assist investigations and comply with legal obligations
We may, but are not obligated to, conduct ID or background verification. Verification is subject to the documentation you provide and third-party checks where applicable. We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any background checks.
All content, trademarks, logos, software and proprietary processes (including our matchmaking algorithm) are the property of ‘Shadi Ka Sanjog’. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without prior written permission.
Our matching suggestions are algorithm-assisted and based on the information you provide. They are indicative only and do not guarantee compatibility or marriage outcomes.
We may link to third-party sites or services (blogs, advertisers, verification agencies). These are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
We are not responsible for:-
• The outcome of introductions made through our Service.
• Misrepresentation by members.
• Emotional, reputational or financial loss arising from use of our platform.
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the current subscription period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for rule violations, fraudulent activity, harmful activity or legal reasons. Termination may occur without refund where permitted by law.
Disputes should first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mediation. If unresolved, they shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar (UP). Courts in Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar (UP) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, cyberattacks, government actions, etc.).
